The AAA-C's membership is classified into four categories:
Active Member, Associate Member, Honorary Member and Affiliated
Member.
Active Member
Cambodians who either have:

a minimum of one year's study in Australia achieving a
post-secondary qualification from an Australian institution or
-
a formal award qualification gained in Australia from a
recognised Australian higher education body (i.e. Graduate
Certificate, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters or PhD)
Associate Member
Cambodians who have studied in Australia but not achieved the
academic level of members, who are pursuing or have achieved
degrees through transnational education programs from an Australian
institution, pre-departure students and students currently in
Australia
Honorary Member
Cambodians or other nationals who are interested and sympathetic
to the organisation, and who are nominated and approved by the
committee and in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) as Honorary
Members. Honorary Members are not required to pay the annual
membership fee
Affiliated Member
Cambodians or Cambodian institutions or other nationals or
international institutions, who are interested and sympathetic to
the organisation.
