Victoria University of Wellington (VUW) is built on a 100-year tradition. The University was established in 1899 and now has 21,500 students, including 3000 international students from around 100 countries.


Victoria’s degrees are comprehensive and flexible, and students are able to choose from a wide variety of courses taught in world–class facilities by the nation’s leading teachers. Victoria has seven faculties – Architecture and Design, Commerce and Administration, Education, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, and Science. Victoria offers study options at all levels, from pathway programmes (English language study and Foundation Studies), to undergraduate (degree study), right through to Master’s PhD and post-doctoral study.
