Registration for IELTS

Interested candidates must register in Phnom Penh through the IDP Office by completing the standard IELTS application form. One passport photo is required.

The application fee of US$180 must be paid five working days before the test.

Registration for IELTS

1. Check the test dates to find two options that suit you. Note the deadline for registering for each test date. The test fee is US $180.

2. Please make sure that you are registered for the correct module: Academic or General Training.

3. Read the ‘Information for Candidates’, terms and conditions, complete the IELTS application form and sign it.  Please make sure you have a valid postal address and use the same name as on your passport.

You may also register online.

4. Organize two passport photos, less than six month old and sign on the back of each. When you take the photo, you must not wear glasses.

5. Take a photocopy of your current passport – this must be valid and not expired. You may also submit your National ID card.

6. Take your application to the centre with your money.

7. Once you have registered, we will confirm your IELTS test date, time and venue.

Please note the Speaking test can be up to 7 days before or after the test date.

8. On the test day, you must bring the same passport or National ID that you entered on the IELTS Application Form.

Test Report Form

IELTS provides a profile of English language ability in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

A band score for each of the four modules as well as an overall score is recorded on the Test Report Form. This allows candidates themselves and receiving institutions to clearly identify the candidates' strengths and weaknesses. These Band Scores are recorded on the Test Report Form along with details of the candidate's nationality, first language and date of birth. The Test Report Form indicates whether it is for an Academic or General Training candidate.

A valid Test Report Form bears a centre stamp, a validation stamp and the IELTS administrator's signature. If a candidate is proceeding to further study, Test Report Forms should be sent directly from the test centre to the receiving institution or organisation.

Photocopies of IELTS Test Report Forms should NOT be accepted.
